Rep. Braley's investigation will find the answers to three critical questions:
- Why were members of the Iowa National Guard denied GI Bill education benefits in the first place?
- Are the Army and Department of Defense taking appropriate action to resolve the problem in a timely fashion?
- Are there any other National Guard units that have been denied benefits under similar circumstances either currently or in the past?
